COLOURS THAT SPEAK
Colours have voice and they can speak and that's why we can't use them anyhow. On this context we will be talking about different colours for different occasions, what colours can suit each occasion and the ones to avoid.
1. Black: Black signifies dignity, it also signifies a sad mood or mourning, depending on how and when they are used. Black should be used on special requests for occasions like wedding ceremonies, church programs or anniversaries.
Black is mainly used for funeral services but the death of an elderly person (celebration of life) should not be costumed with black. Brighter colours should be considered, like purple and gold or purple, yellow and white or green, white and purple. The above mentioned colours can be used for the celebration of life funeral.
2. Green and White: these are National colours and can be used to decorate National events or government events.
3. Green, Red, Yellow and Gold: these colours are Christmas colours and can be combined when events like Christmas carol or party are being organised.
4. Red and White: these colours are seen as valentine or love colour and can be used to decorate events that has to do with valentine day celebration or love celebration. Some people present flowers such as purple, yellow and lots of colours, they do not understand these colours. Any flower, not in bunch, must be either red or white, if you want to signify Love.
5. Wedding ceremonies: All colours can be used for decoration for wedding ceremonies, depending on the mood of the couple and what they hope to achieve. Black should not be used in such events.
6. Birthday parties: when decorating for kids birthday party, several colours can be used at ones because kids are always fun of colours but Blue can be dominant for the Boys, while Pink dominant for the Girls'. And these colours can be used for people below the age of 21. For Adults, Other colours can come in depending on the choice of the celebrant.
